The McGowan Institute is a network of approximately ~230 faculty members, who are engineers, scientists, or clinicians who have elected to work together in multidisciplinary teams to develop and translate regenerative therapies.  Organizationally the Institute is a partnership between the University of Pittsburgh and the UPMC Health System.
