Award Opportunity Announcement!
As part of the U01 grant of the Diabetic Foot Consortium, one physician-scientist award is available through a National Institutes for Health administrative supplement program. The candidate must have a MD or its equivalent, including DPM. The goal is to provide two years of funding to develop a project to apply for independent funding such as an R or K award. The formal receipt date for this year is Feb. 6, 2024. The project would need to fit within the general scope of the DFC U01 grant. Any early-stage physician scientist interested in this should contact Dr. Chandan K Sen or Dr. Shomita Steiner as soon as possible, no later than two weeks from today (Tuesday, December 26, 2023).
