The Young Investigator Award highlights the importance of advancing research in wound healing. This prestigious award recognizes and rewards exceptional young researchers, providing a platform for presenting and discussing groundbreaking discoveries. The top eight high scoring abstract were chosen for podium presentation during the Young Investigator Session. Four top-scoring presentations are selected as finalists. Each finalist receives a monetary award of $1000, and an award certificate in recognition of the high quality of their work. The first-place winner usually represents the American wound healing society at the European Tissue Repair Society in the same year.
