Dr. Kanhaiya Singh, PhD, Associate Professor, received the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Professional Interest Group Early Career Abstract Award at the ADA’s 84th Scientific Sessions. The goal of this award is to recognize ADA members who are early in their careers and are presenting outstanding research at this year’s annual meeting. Dr. Singh’s abstract was identified as exceptional by the ADA’s Foot Care Interest Group. He presented two oral presentations highlighting the importance of Tissue Nanotransfection (TNT) technology and cell specific gene editing to rescue diabetic ischemic tissue.
